Cynthia DeNeve or "Cindy" as we lovingly called her, is the artist who created our whimsical logo. In 2006 Cindy joined My Escuelita as our "creative consultant" and she designed our logo as well as helped us launch our original website. This hand drawn picture by Cindy captures the essence of My Escuelita. A bilingual and biliterate elementary teacher and mother of three children, she was able to depict our vision of a little school you might find in a Spanish speaking country. The happy children under a brilliant sun speak for themselves!

We loved her drawing from the moment we saw it...and it continues to be a wonderful and constant reminder of four teachers - four best friends coming together to create something very special for our children.
